FlopMAX's casino games use no money. Real casinos do, and every game in them costs you on average.

What the house keeps

Every casino bet is priced so that the house wins over time. Here is what a dollar bet returns on average, from the same tables the games use:

BetYour EV per dollar
Blackjack, perfect basic strategy (6 decks, H17, 3:2)−0.67%
Craps, pass line−1.41%
Roulette, European wheel−2.70%
Roulette, American wheel−5.26%
Craps, any 7 (the worst bet on the table)−16.67%

No betting system changes these numbers. Raising after a loss, chasing a "due" number or following a streak only changes how fast the money moves, never which way it moves on average. Results on FlopMAX set what happened against what the edge says should have, so you can see luck for what it is.

Poker is the exception: the players pay each other, not the house, so a skilled player can win. The house still takes a cut of each pot, and most players lose.

If you do gamble

  • Set a budget you can afford to lose before you start, and stop when it's gone.
  • Set a time limit, and take breaks.
  • Never chase losses, or gamble with money meant for bills, or borrowed.
  • Don't gamble to escape stress, or when drinking.
  • Treat what you spend as the price of entertainment, not a way to make money.

Signs it may be a problem

  • Spending more money or time than you meant to, more and more often.
  • Hiding how much you gamble from people close to you.
  • Feeling restless or irritable when you try to cut back.
  • Gambling to win back what you've lost.
  • Borrowing money, or missing work, school or family time, because of it.

Where to get help

Help is free and confidential.

Most real-money gambling sites and casinos also let you set deposit limits or exclude yourself. FlopMAX never takes money and has nothing to deposit.
